Creating an account
Email magic link, Apple, or Google signup on Step
Events can be browsed without signing in. An account is needed for tickets, messaging, organizer tools, and a personalized Cue experience.
Sign-in options
From Get started in the app or on the web, accounts can be created with:
- Email: a magic link is sent to the address you enter. Opening the link completes sign-in.
- Sign in with Apple: native on iPhone, and a web-based flow on Android and web.
- Google: Google account sign-in.
After the first sign-in, the flow usually continues with a username, acceptance of terms, and birth year. Accounts under 18 have safety limits: direct messages, payouts, and organizer tools are unavailable. A short profile wizard covers name, city, dance styles, and photo. Those fields can be updated later from the profile menu.
After the account exists
Home may show a Getting Started checklist and a short product tour. Settings, payouts, tickets, and most tools are available from Home by opening the profile photo (see The profile menu).
Birth year is required before checkout and other age gated features.
Recovery and email
If the username is forgotten, recovery is available from the sign-in screen. Using one account keeps tickets and history together. Apple Hide My Email is supported; a contact email may still be requested later for payments or support.
